Playing Out is a not-for-profit information and advice resource for street play. It is one of four organisations including London Play which is funded by the Department of Health to support the development of play streets across the country.
If you are interested in setting up a play street outside London, they are the people to contact. And even if you are setting up a play street in London, they have lots of good resources on their website.
Hackney Playing Out
In the summer of 2012, Hackney was the first borough in London to launch a pilot play street scheme, using temporary play street orders similar to those used in Bristol.
