Children win rocket competition

by Fiona on January 08, 2016

A group of children have won a city-wide rocket building competition.

The ‘BV Winton Explorers’ from Winton Avenue, Bounds Green, won judges over in the London Play Space Challenge with their rocket, complete with soft toy astronauts and a specially made nose cone.

Charity London Play ran the challenge, which was open to teams of up to 10 children, aged between 5 and 16 years old. They had to create their own fantasy spaceships out of recycled materials.
