It's all go at Mudchute

Thrill seekers from across London converged at Mudchute Farm on the Isle of Dogs for a racing event with a difference.
 

The All London Go-Kart Grand Prix 2013 saw 12 teams of children and young people from adventure playgrounds and community groups across the capital race against the clock to build a go-kart from scratch - and then race against each other. The farm's geese and llamas looked on as the sound of hammering, sawing and laughter filled their usual tranquil environment.

Teams from adventure playgrounds, play schemes, schools and community projects in 12 London boroughs competed in this annual race, each given just four hours to build a Go-Kart from scratch, then putting it to the test on the grassy circuit.
