Over the last three years, Home Zones for London has been working to promote and develop home zones in seven London boroughs - Brent, Croydon, Hillingdon, Islington, Lewisham, Sutton and Westminster. Previously, other schemes, such as the national Home Zones Challenge have succeeded in creating home zones in other areas of London. Five boroughs do not currently have a home zone and there are no known plans to develop them - these are Barnet, Bexley, Merton, Redbridge and Wandsworth.

They include Streets for People schemes which are funded by Transport for London and constitute the main source of funding for home zones. Although Streets for People schemes and home zones share similar aims, the former may involve measures other than those associated with a home zone.

No existing or proposed schemes
No home zones are known to exist or be in development.

Note that the home zones listed may or may not have official home zone designation. Efforts have been made to list all home zone developments, however there may be other proposals being developed in London.
