Quality in Play

Quality in Play is a quality assurance scheme for out-of-school play and childcare provision to ensure quality play opportunities for children.

Quality in Play was developed by playwork practitioners and is based on established playwork values.

With its roots in Hackney Play Association, Quality in Play was promoted and developed by London Play to become the choice quality assurance system for the play sector.

Quality in Play at Play England

Play England has taken over the management of the Quality in Play programme and is rolling out the programme nationally.
