Street Play

Street Play

The Street Play project gives children an opportunity to play out safely on their streets. It seeks to provide London's children - through compromise with the motorist and support from local authorities - with a safe, free to access, play opportunity right outside their door.

Events are similar to traditional Royal jubilee street parties but with children's play very much at the heart of them.

We are still keen to hear from London residents who want to have a Street Play Party on their street and can offer up to £450 in funding to make the day a success. For summer 2010 contact us in March 2010 to allow time for applications to your council for road closure.
